Moqups – an Interface Prototype Builder

Front of any developer sooner or later face the task of designing the application interface. It is better when the problem gets up early, then all the battle for beauty and convenience is on paper and drafts, instead of the real system. Paper is convenient because you can pleasantly and quickly draw on it. However, the disadvantages are obvious: it is uncomfortable to erase / modify and extremely difficult to transfer sketches to other developers. Therefore, was created many electronic systems for prototyping interfaces, among which is the Moqups.

Moqups is an HTML5-application, that is, it works online: https://moqups.com/.

Here's a nice interface, you can draw with Moqups:

The left side of the screen is a toolbar where you can select a primitive, which are available quite a lot of. If there is no some of the primitive, you can upload your own image and use it as a figure. Each primitive has customizable settings.

Moqups Logo is used to call the menu through which you can save or load a project. All data is stored online.

To the right of the logo is a button of the structure of the project, where you can create additional screen-pages. Pages can be created by cloning, which is very convenient.

The top panel is used to work with layers and objects: you can group or block objects, move them higher or lower level, align them. Part of the same actions can be performed using the context menu. Hotkeys are also work.

At the very top right of the screen are buttons of linking pages, export and settings. Before exporting, you can preview the scene.  You can export to PDF or PNG.

I am personally happy with this tool, it meets all my basic needs in prototyping. In addition, Moqups is constantly developing, and in the future we will see a lot of new features and, therefore, can do even more high-quality and thought-out interfaces.
